Happy Friday!!!! Hows everyone doing! Its almost Easter, which I'm looking forward to going to brunch with my family on Sunday! 

Anyways, today I'm wearing my Heart-Patched sweater from LF Laguna. I paired this with a jersey skirt, thigh-high socks (from LF) and black boots. I love this sweater and just picked it up at LF's sale the other day! I got it for about $30.00 when it was around $130.00+ before the sale! The socks were about 4 dollars. I really love this outfit, and it's perfect for the cooler weather we have been having! I belted the skirt with a belt from Wild Heartz Boutique!

Slightly Pshycadellic!

Hey guys!!! This is an ootd from a couple of weeks ago. My computer broke so I haven't been ably to upload the pics. :(

I'm wearing a crop-too and skirt from Target, with a jean-jacket my mom got me for Christmas. (I think it was from TJ Maxx). Glasses from Heavenly Couture, and shoes from Styles for less! My necklace was a gift and I just have a blue ribbon in my hair :)

I love the prints of this outfit. It is almost a tie-dye print, but understated enough not to look too hippie. I really love these shoes, I wore them all day, and they were really quite comfortable! The sunglasses were nice as well, a new purchase I actually got this day, I have been wanting a white pair!

App of the Week!

Hey guys!! How is everyone doing this Monday afternoon? I'm doing okay, I've had a bit of a cold all morning, so I'm working on getting over that at the moment. Other than that, I'm doing some schoolwork, and planning some videos and beauty blogs for you guys! I wanted to get a post up real quick just to mention something that I have recently 're-kindled' my love with! Ha-ha.

The other day while I was cleaning and doing a bit of filming I decided to put some music on. I was growing tired of listening to the same songs on my i-Pod and since my computer isn't working for Spotify, I decided to use Pandora! Now I've had Pandora for such a long time, I believe I first started using it Freshman year. I've had this app on my phone since forever, but just let it sit there. I figured it would be a perfect way to get some new songs to listen to, as well as a fun variety!

Whether its a specific genre, artist, song, or theme, you can instantly build a station based off of those 'seeds' as well as your 'thumbed up' and 'thumbed down' tracks. I think the main thing that I like about Pandora is that it automatically queues up new songs based off of your personal taste! My most common used stations are 'Show Tunes' which I use for studying, (I have a soft spot for the Tarzan, Rent, and Phantom of the Opera soundtracks...) and my Good Vibes' station, (linked here), which I listen to all the time. I have a ton of other stations, like Fitness, GRAMMY pop, Christmas, Classical, Today's Hits, Popular, and so many more.

Have you used Pandora? I love discovering new songs and when the occasional 'oldie' pops on. You know those songs you haven't hear in forever, and when it comes back on you just get a rush of memories?! There are plenty of those. Pandora even lets you bookmark tracks to remember them for later as well as an 'I'm Tired Of This Track' option that shelves a song for a bit if its over-played.

Shoesday Tuesday! :p

Hey everyone! How have you guys been? I just wanted to give you guys a look at the most recent addition to my closet! Sunday, my mom and I went shopping, where I bought a few things. One of the things I picked up was a new pair of shoes! Instead of waiting until I did a post about the outfit I got, I thought I'd show you the shoes a bit earlier:)

I bought these shoes at Styles For Less, one of my favorite stores, for about $30. They remind me a bit of Oxford Heels and Litas combined. I really like the scalloped edges with the small cut-outs at the top, as well as the fact that it zips in the back so there is no need to lace them up each time you put them on. I really like the 'wooden' heel, because it makes the shoes appear less harsh yet also gives it a fun twist for Spring or Summer! The ones I bought were by a brand called 'Qupid' and you can find these online here! (However, I believe I got them for $29.99 at SFL plus or minus a few dollars with tax and the VIP discount car...) But I really like them, and I think they look a bit different in person compared to the photographs on that website, all-in-all, I really liked these and I hope that you liked this, first, Shoesday Tuesday post!

Photo Editing, Apps for Google Chrome!

Google Chrome -- Pixlr-o-matic :)

In this day and age, photo editing programs are everywhere. Whether its a professional-level program, like Photoshop  or a common easy-to-use program like Instagram, photo editing is being used more often this day and age. I have learned a few skills on Photoshop, but I am nowhere near mastering that program. I use Instagram much more often and have found I quite like it :) Instagram is really easy to use, and since I've been using it, I have often found my self downloading other photo-editing programs onto my i-Phone. 

One of those apps is Pixlr-o-matic, and I love this app! It's really easy to use and slightly more advanced than Insta. It has a selection of separate: filters, borders, and effects you can add on to each photo. I like this because you can mix and match frames and filters; there is even an easy 'shuffle' button that creates a random edit for you if you are too lazy, or just can't decide like me!  

This morning (as I was trying to figure out how to add bloglovin to Google Chrome) I realized just how many apps there are on the Google Chrome web store. I don't know if I was just completely out of the loop, but I was excited to see how many games and apps there were to use! I currently have a PC  so I never really thought about adding 'apps' to my computer and finding them today was purely by accident. I was really excited to see that Pixlr-O-Matic even has an app, that's free, on Google Chrome! I really enjoy using this for fun, silly pictures that I don't want to spend too much time editing. I love that it is like a bridge between my phone and computer! I'm not sure if this works on other browsers but it was fun to use and just like the i-Phone app! Here are a few pictures I played around with in the app:

This is a photo I took with my dad one day, I added a light filter and this fun frame!

This one was kind of fun to add filters to, and a softening frame around the edges.

A More Metallic Monochrome!

 OOTD 03.06.13 ||| A More Metallic Monochrome!

Today I decided to go for a more 'dressed-up' look. I paired my Forever 21 knit sweater with a 'chevron-printed' skirt. I love the way these two look together. The comfy feel of the sweater gave the skirt a more casual feel. To accessorize, I added a "paris-themed" ring I bought online a few years back, and two small flower shaped stud earrings. for shoes, I added my Shoe-dazzle booties with gold linings (I was able to score these at a thrift store for $6.00). Over-all I really liked the comfortable feel of this outfit! 

The textures of these pieces look so nice together!

Floral, with a Twist!

    

OOTD 03.03.13 ||| Floral with a Twist!

So, I've decided that it would be fun to start doing small OOTD (Outfit Of The Day) posts here and there. I've always loved seeing pictures of OOTDs and thought that it would be fun to put my own spin on these posts. Since I have so much more space here on my blog than on twitter or instagram, I thought this would be a fun way to integrate them all together. This way I  can really go 'in-depth' onto why I chose, or where I bought most things. I'm going to try and update at least 5x a week, but hopefully I can break them down much more often. I also will be intertwining these posts on my website,  and I made an account on pheed that I'm going to try and link in as well! Without further ado, here is my first OOTD.

The weather has been quite nice for the past few days, so today was the perfect day to begin a step into spring with my wardrobe. I decided on pairing a floral printed romper, tucked into this psuedo-vintage denim skirt. I added my infinity scarf from StylesForLess.I paired this with my white high-top converse, some rings from Wild Heartz, and a bag from Macy's.

One of my favorite things about this outfit was the range in texture. The floral print of the romper mixed nicely with the denim-feel of the skirt and the knitted texture and scalloped-edge of the scarf complimented both nicely.

I also really liked how the colors blended together, The blue from he skirt was picked up in the blue flowers on the romper. The yellow on the romper, and the tan buttons from the skirt both highlighted the color of the scarf.

 

    

 

As far as accessories go, I chose three fun rings. The flower ring is from SFL, and the other two are from WILD HEARTZ.  

Finally, I threw on my converse to 'dress-down' the look, as well as a small purse I got a few months back at  Macy's!

Over-all I really liked this outfit. I thought that the print in the romper would look casual yet chic paired with the converse and skirt!
